Our company was founded in 1995. We operate on the premises of the Sendzimir Steelworks (HTS S.A.) in Krakow. We owe our tradition and experience to the former Ingot Mould Shop within HTS S.A., which was the foundation for establishment of our company.
We are one of the leading foundries in Poland. The company's share of iron casting sales market was 9.98% in 2000. The initial plans that assumed deliveries for Polish iron and steel industry only were right but for the realities of 1995. However, the crisis in the iron and steel industry in 1997 - 1999 and the fact that the technologies of continuous casting of steel became more and more common caused that the company needed necessary restructuring. Thus we have decided to make our development in two ways: we broadened our product line with other steel accessories and ballasts as a supplement to our ingot moulds and entered foreign
markets.
Krakodlew S.A. fulfils the reguirements of
Quality Menagement System in the fieldsof:
- quality management standards - ISO 9001:2000
- environmental management - ISO 14001:2004
- occupational health and safety management
standards - PN-N 18001:2004
We offer castings from grey, ductile and vermicular cast iron. Our cast iron production technology with the use of double-crucible induction furnace provides high-quality metals with required chemical constitution, properties and structure.
